Motor neurone disease (MND) is a devastating, terminal condition that affects over 5,000 adults in the UK at any given time. With no cure currently available, the MND Association is committed to funding groundbreaking research, improving care and support, and campaigning for the rights of people affected by the disease. With over 12,000 members and the support of 13,000 volunteers, the charity has grown rapidly is beginning to start an ambitious phase of transformation.

The Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association is seeking experienced and passionate individuals to join its Engagement and Income Committee as Subject Matter Experts. This is a unique opportunity to support a vital cause by contributing specialist knowledge and insight to the strategic direction of the charity’s engagement and fundraising work.

As non-voting members of the Committee, Subject Matter Experts play a critical role by offering expert guidance on complex topics and contributing to the development of the Association’s strategic initiatives. Your expertise will help shape high-impact fundraising strategies, engagement campaigns, and external partnerships that directly benefit the MND community. The MND Association is particularly interested in individuals with significant experience in fundraising development and strategy, particularly within complex or large-scale organisations.
