Co-opted Trustees

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a devastating, terminal condition that affects over 5,000 adults in the UK at any given time. With no cure currently available, the MND Association is committed to funding groundbreaking research, improving care and support, and campaigning for the rights of people affected by the disease. With over 12,000 members and the support of 13,000 volunteers, the charity has grown rapidly is beginning to start an ambitious phase of transformation.

The MND Association is now seeking a Co-Opted Trustee to join its Board, to help provide strategic challenge, and oversight to the Executive Team. The MND Association is open to where this person may come from but are particularly interested in individuals with experience in governance or legal affairs, people and culture, transformational change, clinical services, healthcare, or senior charity leadership.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a bold, forward-thinking organisation working to create a world free from MND—one that places the voices of those affected by the disease at the heart of everything it does.
