Our Mission

To provide a Neighbourhood Centre for the benefit of all people living in the area.

To provide within the centre activities and referral service, support groups, Op Shop, integrated programs, volunteer network, learning/social and health related programs.

To foster the growth and development of other groups, centres and programs within our wider community.

To provide a safe, happy and friendly environment for all people to enjoy, without exception.

Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands across Victoria. We pay our respects to their spirits, ancestors, elders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members past, present and emerging.

Position Description

– Working along side the Executive Team
– Needing Administration skills and an understanding of running an Organisation, Strategic Development and/or Goals
– Attend Monthly meetings
– Have some understanding of Neighbourhood Houses and the Not- for profit sector
– Understanding of the local community (City of Monash)
